That was pretty easy. I had never heard of Flickr before today. I can see my students using this site to encourage them to illustrate their writing. It would also be great to use as a writing prompt. As we all know, it is easier to write about things that interest you. What a great resource to use to capture a students interest.
I chose this picture because I am participating in the 3 day
60 mile walk for breast cancer. Our team name is Butterfly Effect. When I saw this picture of the butterfly and a pink flower it made a connection to my journey that I am about to undertake.
Good luck to you and the rest of the Butterfly Effect with your three-day walk. I did it a few years back and the experience - both the training and the walk itself - was one I will never forget. The pink flower and the butterfly make an inspiring symbol.
