Thing 3

I would have never even thought of using a blog as a way of communicating with my students or peers. After looking at some of the blog sites the possibilities are endless. In reading on of of the participants blogs, she even thought of using a blog to communicate with parents instead of a news letter. I will be coming back to thing 3 to discover and learn even more about this blogging concept. Will these resources continue to be available to us after the course is over? Is there a way to save all the info that we are learning?

  2. The 23 Things site does stay up between sessions; you'll see in Thing 14 about creating a Delicious social bookmarking site; I've been saving many of the helpful links in there (for now, you can just keep your 23 Things bookmark or bookmark individual ones you want). Hope that's helpful!

  3. I currently do an email newsletter for parents and thought about switching it to a blog (I do a blog for my students). The only problem I foresee is that a lot of parents will forget to check the blog, while an email in their inbox is hard to miss.
